Democratic Debate Look Out

As you may or may not know, the second Democratic debate will be held on this Sunday, June 3rd. The debate will be on CNN at 7 pm. Some friends and I will be getting together to watch the debate and argue during the breaks about which candidate does better. I am hoping that questions about gay rights will finally come up especially since the release of the gay platforms by Edwards, Clinton, and Obama. I love watching debates and figuring out strategies that the candidates use and what they should use. What are you looking for at the debate this Sunday? Leave comments about what you will be looking for in a candidate in the debate setting in New Hampshire. Then I will revisit this post after the debate to see how the candidates held up to South Carolina's expectations.

I'd like to hear about their views on US-Russian relations and see how they feel about W's continuing "friendship" with Putin, who he's having down to his folks place in Kennebunkport soon. Check out this editorial cartoon (http://www.interfax-religion.com/?act=mosaic&div=147) from Interfax, a major "respected" Russian news agency. When you link this to the recent police arrests of gay rights activists who were under attack by a mob (rather than arresting their attackers), this issue clearly has an important gay rights dimension.
